Once again not that much happening here. I'm just writing to let you all know I'm still alive and in the hope of generating some comments that will entertain me at work..
The biggest news I have to offer doesn't greatly affect Hana and I. We have been evicted! Apparently not for being rowdy and having the noise police over on a few occasions (English people are too tight-arsed to be living so close to one another - we had a sunday bbq a few weeks back and had the noise police over at 6.30pm about music that was not loud enough to interfere in our conversations let alone our neighbours'). The landlord has said that his daughter wants to move in. So thats it, no arguing, we're out. Fortunately, we've been given 2 months notice, which will bring us to the middle of September, which is only like 10 days before we planned on leaving anyway. We'll probably head to Ireland or Scotland or some other part of the British Isles we intended to visit on weekends but didn't because we were too hungover.
Met up with Loges and Henno on Saturday, and took them to a New Zealander party (took is actually a misleading word to use - after telling them to meet us at Clapham Junction, they got lost and we supplied them with the address and instructions. Considering it was their fourth day in the country it was a commendable achievement to find the place, albeit 2 hours later). I was worried early on when I was told by a host to 'get out if I don't like it' after telling her to chill out when she pushed past me to retrieve a lost phone which had been found (that bitch got her comeuppance when she collapsed on the balcony an hour later and spent the rest of the night in a puddle of her own filth). Despite all of this, it turned out to be quite a good night evidenced by the fact that our guests outstayed us! We made the call to leave when, after smoking a joint which may not have been a joint (something he claims, but I think the half-bottle of vodka preceding the joint may have had more to do with it), Byron pulled a whitey (which is in fact not a reference to me, but when you smoke so much that the colour suddenly drains from your face and you more-often-than-not puke). Despite my best efforts (he asked me to tell him a story, and my dull-as-dogshit effort only made things worse - I was interrupted midway with "I don't feel good man") he thankfully didn't puke but we thought it was time to make an exit. Loges and Henno stayed behind to chat to some randoms and try to get a grip on life in London.
The weather here has been beautiful. For the past 8 or 9 days it has been blue skies and sunshine and getting up to around 30 degrees. We took advantage by taking a walk along Kensington High Street (an inspired decision - its where the posh totties go shopping) on Saturday, and my god, english women like to take their clothes off when it gets hot. Admittedly, the women aren't so good looking around the rest of the country (should I say the rest of London, because I lack any experience north of Camden) but we had a pleasant day sight-seeing.
As usual I've managed to write a lot about nothing. And in return all I ask is that you too write a lot (or at least something). The internet has become a boring, boring place.
P.S I like brackets.......
I am currently developing a system of footnoting.

Hi Whitey, I have also have a full time job and am trying to entertain myself on the internet so I thank you for having a blog and making a post.
Just to let you know the Ravens had a terrible game last week and lost to the other team with Scoth players with their bench of slags cheering them on.
Dario still has trouble playing basketball without yelling faaarrrrkkk quite regularly and since his finger injury his shooting really hasn't been the same (well it is the same as it used to be - still pretty shit house and still followed by him yelling faaarrrrkkkk).
Anyway thanks for making my day at work more enjoyable.

Tommy here.
I wrote something in reply to this post a week ago, but it still hasn't appeared on the page, so I must have accidentally pressed the wrong button or something.
Anyway, I've been doing a few odd jobs at White Cleland in the past couple of weeks, so I'm hugely grateful to Rob for that one. It's been mainly photocopying, but its nice to just be in an office for once.
Ravens are struggling at the moment, but we've got a big game this week to land a finals berth so we'll be fired up tomorrow.
Hope to hear from you soon.
Hey Dan, considering I haven't really heard from you since I left, you've either had an upsettingly dull six months, or you really need to reassess what you classify as news!
Hey yt, pies here, if you think Dan has had a dull six months, the most exciting thing to happen to me is...
Well nothing really!! Since I last posted I have spent the majority of my time at work, as most of the guys will testify to. We have hit the busy season so there are people who sleep at work, and I haven't got to that stage yet. But I am fast approaching that stage, worked a 60 hour week. Anyway that’s enough to put anyone to sleep. Keep the posts coming
Cheers

KPMG would eat him if he napped at work. He has far too much important work to do.. QBE on the other hand endorse and encourage napping on the job - I try to get at least an hour a day. I read The Beach yesterday (yes, the whole thing yesterday) and now all I want to do is get high on a Thai beach. Damn England! But seriously, I'm getting a bit toey and have begun counting down the weeks till I resume travelling..
I don't have an photos of the english countryside - i haven't even seen the english countryside. Still haven't been beyond Heathrow. It'll come. Patience is a virtue. I have been pretty shithouse, but its really not economical to do weekend trips. I think in the week between being evicted and oktoberfest I'll either get a cheap bus tour or rent a car and check the place out. Like why spend £60 on a train ticket to Manchester when I can pay £100 for a week being taken where I want to on a bus.
