Worldnomads travel insurance - Significantly cheaper than STA (though for our length of trip 'significant' is like $30) and a better policy for all things but lost luggage (probably most likely thing you'll use -grim) but still enough for me. Both have a $100 excess.
Compare for yourself but either way think about getting it sorted soon cause our tickets are the budget, non-refundable type so you want insurance for if you break your leg between now and then... or whatnot.
